Swarm Season!

Don't panic, bees in a swarm tend to be docile waiting for scout bees to find them a new home.

If you have a swarm, call a beekeeper!

                     Swarm Catching List 2026

Swarming season usually begins mid-April and can continue through summer. This list is provided for information only; contact listed individuals for additional information including fees.

Unless specified, beekeepers do not do construction including removing walls to access bees, or repairing walls after bees have been removed.  Those services need to be coordinated separately with a contractor.

  • Standard mileage rates to reimburse beekeepers are 50 cents a mile one way or $1/mile round trip.
  • No one beekeeper has an exclusive territory so if one person doesn't respond, try another one.
