You are interested in finding a "bee buddy," someone who is starting their beekeeping career when you are and are located close to where you will have your apiaries. Please let us know  a little more about who you are, where you live and how you are willing to help:

Bee Buddies

A bee buddy is someone who is starting when you are. They are also preferably close to where you live so you can visit each other's bees, compare notes, share information and double your learning curve by observing and sharing what you see your bees doing.

Another advantage of a bee buddy is you can consolidate orders to get free shipping and borrow equipment if you need something at the last minute.

Discuss your mutual expectations when you meet and as you are getting to know each other.

Other Support

When in doubt, take pictures, share on Facebook,  bring to club meetings and ask, we can all benefit from looking at what your bees are doing and trying to identify a behavior and reason behind it.

Just remember, you are not alone. There are literally thousands of little bee eyes watching you every time you open that hive lid :)
