2025 Beginning Beekeeping Classes

    This class will cover the basics to get started in working with honey bees. This class qualifies for GPMB apprentice level education.

    Second Year Beekeeping (for beekeepers who have successfully helped bees through one winter together)
    Saturday, March 23, 2025
     
    ​This class will review basic techniques from how to introduce queens, swarm catching and management, splitting and combining colonies, and more basic techniques.

    Limited seating; first come, first served.
    $100 per person; $180 husband & wife.
    Minimum class attendance age 15 years.

Rolla Bee Club Classes will be held at Doolittle Community Hall, 380 Eisenhower, Rolla, Mo.

​Cost $100 per student; $180 per husband and wife couple includes class materials, lunch and refreshments.

​8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rolla Bee Club 2022 classes are certified by Great Plains Master Beekeeping for credit towards master beekeeper certification.
