2026 Open Teaching Apiary Sessions

Please fill out the following form to pre-register for upcoming open teaching apiary sessions.
Sessions are held once on Tuesday and once a month the same Sunday as club meetings, both 9-11 a.m. during summer. Starting July, the hours are 10-noon.
Donations appreciated. Funds maintain the apiary.

Great Plains Master Beekeeping students are free. Register here.

You will be contacted with address and if weather conditions require cancellation/rescheduling. Thanks!

Rolla Bee Club's open teaching apiary 2026 starts Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Rolla Bee Club 2025 open teaching apiary sessions qualify for Great Plains Master Beekeeping field hours.

2026 Open Teaching Apiary Dates

Rolla Bee Club has 16 open teaching apiary sessions scheduled for 2026, weather depending.

Each of the two-hour sessions will include instructions as well as hands on experience.

Attendees should bring their own beekeeping suit, gloves, water and chair. Some suits are available at the apiary for students who haven't ordered their protective equipment.

Hive tools will be provided.
